US Airways Flight 31 Diverts to Honolulu, Mechanical Issue
A US Airways jet diverted to Honolulu Monday night due to an undisclosed mechanical issue.
US Airways Flight 31, a Boeing 757-200 with 153 passengers and 6 crew, made a safe landing at 1:49 AM.
There were no injuries.

After flying 3.5 hours, the aircraft returned to Hawaii. No one know what the problem was?
US Airways does heavy maintenance with “Third World Country” Maintenance Repair and Overhaul MRO bases. The airline save a lot of money on this low cost maintenance.
