Frontier Airlines announced today that it is launching new seasonal service from its Denver, Colo. (DEN) hub to Eugene, OR (EUG) starting May 16, 2013, and resuming year-round service from Denver (DEN) to Fresno, CA (FAT) starting May 17, 2013.

“We are excited to offer our low fares to residents in California and Oregon and to our Colorado customers who travel to these regions,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “Travelers will enjoy our low fares to Denver aboard our comfortable A319 aircraft, featuring DIRECTV® service in every seatback and five rows of STRETCH seating and will have a chance to discover all the improvements we have made to FlyFrontier.com over the past few months.”

“We’re thrilled that Frontier Airlines is coming in to serve our community,” said Eugene Airport Director Tim Doll, AAE. “The addition of these flights will bring much needed added seat capacity for east-bound travel and provide our passengers with more options for reaching their destinations.”

“At a time when airlines in general are not expanding service, these new flights are a tremendous benefit to our community as it opens up additional travel opportunities to Denver and connections beyond,” said Kevin Meikle, interim Director of Aviation for Fresno Yosemite International Airport.
