United Airlines will have to wait even longer to take delivery of 4 more Boeing 787 Dreamliner planes it was expecting before the end of 2013, according to reports.

‘FlightGlobal is reporting the airline told employees in a bulletin that those remaining planes will be further delayed. The airline said those delays may disrupt its plans for using Dreamliners on domestic flights on the original schedule, but won’t change its schedule for using the advanced twinjets on international flights.’

United received its first 787 in September after a 3 and half year delay. That 787 will make its first revenue flight on November 4th from Houston to Chicago.

There is no definitive word on how delayed the jets will be.

the delay in delivery is not technical or air worthly or the manufacturing of the 787′s(since Boeing has increased production. United presently cannot afford to pay for the planes
