TACA Airlines A321 Skids on Runway at Costa Rica After Landing, Blows Tires
A TACA Airlines jet skidded along the runway after landing at Juan Santamaria International Airport in Costa Rica on Thursday blowing three tires and closing the airport.
TACA Flight 7621, an Airbus A321 with 146 passengers aboard, landed at about 4 PM local time. Rain had fallen in the afternoon but there is no word if weather played a role in the incident.
There were reports that a few people were treated for shock but otherwise no serious injuries were reported.
