WestJet Flight Delayed When Two Men Argue Over Armrest

Two men were kicked off a WestJet flight on Wednesday when they started to argue over who would get to use the armrest.
Seriously.
The Toronto Sun reports:
‘…officers were called by WestJet at about 9:30 a.m., alerting them to an altercation that erupted on board one of its aircraft that moving along the runway, preparing for take-off at Calgary International Airport.
The men — one in his late 20s, the other in his 50s — aboard WestJet flight 445 were seated beside each other and an argument erupted over who should use the arm rest between them, said Nyhus.
He said the verbal altercation escalated, and while it didn’t become physical, the pair threatened each other.
“We removed them, spoke to them and at that point they both realized they were kind of being silly,” said Nyhus. “The pilot of the aircraft made a decision they were not going to be back in the aircraft.”‘
The men were not arrested…and in fact were booked on later flights.
Really gentlemen?? Hope you don’t have kids…

Airline etiquette states the center passenger get the armrests because the poor SOB is stuck between two other people.
That being said, would we be asking too much to ask for an armrest big enough for two people to use it?
There are four armrests for 3 people; they couldn’t live with that?? They should have been thankful they didn’t have their neighbor’s butt-fat engulfing them!
