Vueling to Add up to 500 New Jobs

Spanish carrier Vueling Airlines will add as many as 500 new jobs in 2013 as part of its planned expansion and new international routes.

‘The job openings will be published before the end of October through the Vueling website and will include the recruitment of pilots, cabin crew and support staff from different sectors and specialties.

Over the course of this summer season which ends on October 24, Vueling has excelled, reporting the largest growth in its history, especially at the Catalan airport, El Prat-Barcelona where it has raised the number of based aircraft from 22 to 38 and handled 22% more passengers compared with the same period during 2011.’

Vueling, a low-cost Spanish carrier, operates a fleet of 60 Airbus aircraft.
