American Airlines’ pilots say the airline isn’t interested in a fair labor deal

An American Airlines jet flying from Dallas Ft. Worth (DFW) to Boston Logan (BOS) diverted to Lambert Airport in St, Louis due a hydraulic problem.

American Flight 1506, a Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 188 passengers on board, landed safely at St. Louis at 2:32 PM CDT with no injuries reported.

KMOV reports that ‘Those onboard were already forced to change planes before taking off from Dallas because the first plane also had problems.’

Next headline: American Airline GROUNDED (will it be by the D.O.T. or the F.A.A.?)

Amaze me if FAA stepped in.

Phil, do you think the FAA should “examine” each of these individual incidences? These types of events seem more relevant to safety than some of their most recent interests (referring to their threat to the AA pilots).
