Eva Air A330 Skids off Runway at Taipei International Airport
An Eva Air jet skidded off the runway after landing at Taipei International Airport on Thursday causing some damage to parts of the runway and causing minor damage to the airliner.
Eva Air Flight 189, an Airbus A330 with 218 passengers and 9 crew aboard, broke two runway lights and damaged the gravel surface when it skidded off the runway at 12:43 PM.
The flight was inbound from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.
‘The plane skidded for 220 meters before the pilot managed to bring it under control and return to the runway, the airport said.’
There were no injuries reported.
The exact damage to the aircraft is unknown.

Eh, nothing the A330 can’t handle. I’m sure weather played a role, as the weather consisted of continuous rainfall.
