Air India Jet Makes Emergency Landing at Jaipur Airport, Engine Trouble

An Air India plane with 185 passengers aboard had to make an emergency landing at Jaipur International Airport in India after a problem with one of the plane’s engines.

The aircraft developed the problem about 40 minutes after takeoff and returned to Jaipur.

The plane made a safe landing. There were no reported injuries

There was no additional information on the flight, type of plane or the nature of the engine problem. We will update when we get that information.

    Man, the A330 (the plane in the picture) is a magnificent aircraft. Even in Air India livery it’s still beautiful! I hope the A350 doesn’t push the A330 to the side the way the 787 did with the 767…

      Agreed I think the Airbus A330 is the most elegant wide-body plane out there with the Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner. From what I saw of the Airbus A350XWB its gonna be ugly. I think that Air India has a nice livery even if Kingfisher has a better one.

    By far the Boeing 777 is the best looking and performance two engine out there! Just look at the lines from the nose to the tail!!
