A Lufthansa plane flying from Sofia, Bulgaria to Munich Germany on August 23rd diverted to Linz, Austria for what ended up being old cooking oil on board.

Lufthansa Flight 1705, an Embraer ERJ-195 with 115 passengers on board, diverted when a strong odor started to make some of the passengers sick as they were complaining of headaches. The odor turned out to be old cooking oil in the oven of the plane’s galley.
