United Express Plane Diverts to Lexington with Hydraulic Trouble
A United Express jet en route to Chicago O’Hare Airport (ORD) on Wednesday diverted to Lexington with hydraulic trouble.
‘ExpressJet Airlines Flight 5701, which was acting as United Express, was scheduled to fly from Columbia, South Carolina to the Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
ExpressJet officials say that during the flight, the crew reported a mechanical issue with the hydraulic system…so they diverted the plane to Lexington.’
The flight landed safely just before 10 AM.
There were no injuries.
