JetBlue A320 Bound for LAX Diverts to Denver, Passenger Gropes Woman

A JetBlue plane flying from New York’s JFK Airport bound for Los Angeles International (LAX) diverted to Denver (DEN) on Sunday when a drunk passenger became unruly and allegedly groped a woman.

32-year-old Marcus Covington has been charged with interfering with the duties of a flight crew and flight attendant when he refused orders by the attendant to stay seated.

He is also accused of groping a pregnant woman while waiting for the bathroom on the plane. There is no word if he has been charged for that offense but he is in custody.

Flight 677, an Airbus A320, landed safely in Denver.
