American Eagle Embraer 140

An American Eagle plane flying from Dallas Ft. Worth (DFW) to Abilene Regional Airport (ABI) had to make and emergency landing due to pitch control problems.

Eagle Flight 2898, an Embraer 140 aircraft, was able to land safely at 10:40 AM local time on Thursday morning.

There were 36 people on the flight. No one was reported injured.

    The flight data looks pretty healthy; they even got up to cruise altitude. I wonder what the extent of the issue was. Maybe a horizontal trim issue?
