Here’s a great in-cabin video of a Lufthansa Boeing 747-8 taking off from Washington Dulles. The wing flex on the new bird is fantastic. Engines are so quiet now!

    Looks pretty bad-ass to me…especially compared to some of the other lame aviation sites with a bunch of people who THINK they’re God’s gift to flying!

    These engines are too quiet! Compared to the original 1970′s Pratt & Whitney engines on the 747-100, these produce more thrust, burn less fuel and are 100x quieter. I’d still take the beautiful noise- they’re more thrilling! :D
