An American Airlines flight struck a bird on approach to Orlando International Airport (MCO) on Friday afternoon damaging an engine.

American Airlines Flight 1777, a Boeing 767 aircraft, landed safely in Orlando from John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) at 11:28 AM. There were no injuries.

According to the FAA, there was damage to the right-hand engine…the extent which is not known at this time.
