VietJet Air Fined $1,000 for Bikini Show on Flight [VIDEO]
Budget airline VietJet Air was fined $1,000 (20 million dong) for staging a bikini show on its maiden flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang on the southern coast of Vietnam on August 3rd.
A YouTube video (see below) shows young women in open vests and red bikini tops dancing down the aisle and handing out teddy bears as gleeful male passengers smile and snap photographs on the flight.
The event was to commemorate that first flight to Nha Trang. The fine reportedly was levied because the airline did not receive official approval.
The girls danced to the song “I’m crazy for banana.” :)
Official approval? Maybe more like they should have let the government officials know ahead of time so they could make sure they were on the flight! :)

Another airline that exploits women just like Ryanair to make a buck. Disgusting.
i rather have an airline with dancing entertainment than no movie on my screen at all for 4 hours straight and yes that was a very boring flight.
I’m going to have to disagree J. That’s the airline I want to fly!!
Agreed, James! Didn’t Southwest do this in the early 70′s with their stewardesses in hot-pants and gogo boots?? And that was every flight! I wish i was around back then to enjoy it!
Braniff Airlines also did something like this too but way back in the 70s when they weer still flying out at DFW, and right out on the Tarmac in front of the terminal too !!!( “O Yes” those lovely days BEFORE the TSA came along).
I think that it’s so neat an Asian Airline does this kind of thing, it sure does make some of our so called GOOD AIRLINES look so drab.
What a way to get ready for take-off.
well, you don’t get that with EasyJet!! Maybe it will catch on, and passenger numbers will soar!!
