Lufthansa Says Next Plane Order Will be Long-Haul Jets
Lufthansa says that their next aircraft order will be fuel efficient long-haul jets, but will not decide on the make and model until the end of 2012.
“The next strategic fleet decision will be in the long-haul segment,” said Nico Buchholz, executive vice-president of group fleet management.
Lufthansa has made it known they are strongly considering the Boeing 787-10 jet:
“It is correct that we think the aircraft [the 787-10] is very interesting and Boeing knows this,” said Mr. Buchholz.
But still, they have not given a definitive confirmation if they will go with the Boeing or perhaps the Airbus A350.

I can’t wait to see the A350 complete and get a chance to see the specs. From what I’m reading about it, it should be a nice aircraft!
