China Eastern Jet Loses Engine Due to Bird Strike
A China Eastern Airlines jet lost an engine due to a bird strike while on approach to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport in China on Monday.
China Eastern Flight 5396, an Airbus A321 aircraft, made a safe landing and there were no injuries reported.
The flight took off from Zhengzhou at 10:50 a.m. on July 16 and arrived in Shanghai at 12:05 p.m.
The engine received enough damage to where the aircraft was grounded for repairs.
