Do you know what “injuries” the pilot would sustain by a laser beam? I’d imagine something eye related, but I’m wondering whether the injuries are merely temporary or in fact more significant.
I would assume an injured cornea…
PERHAPS SECURITY MIGHT ADD LASERS TO THEIR LIST OF PROHIBITIVE ITEMS CARRIED ON BOARD FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL!
Love to get my hands on the punks that do this!
What kind of lasers are these that can be focused on a moving target long enough to injure the pilot? I imagine they have some kind of tripod? That being said, it seems law enforcement should be able to find the perp(s). I have a laser pointer I use for my dog to chase around and I don’t see how you could hand hold one steady at such a distance.
