Emirates Jet Makes Emergency Landing Over Onboard Bomb Threat

An Emirates Airline jet made a last-minute emergency landing in Dhaka, Bangladesh Sunday when an apparently drunk passenger stood up and claimed he had a bomb on board the airplane.
‘The passenger, Sultan Miah, was returning to Dhaka from Dubai by Emirates. He was detained by the Armed Police Battalion, said ABM Atiqur Rahman, a senior assistant superintendent of police (APBn).
“Sultan Miah started behaving abnormally after drinking aboard the plane,” Atiqur said.’
Miah reportedly said he planned to the blow the plane up.
The flight landed at 8:30 PM local time and the suspect was taken in to custody.
There were no explosives found on either the plane or the man.
