California Pacific Airlines has taken delivery of its first jet, an Embraer 170.

The new airline, which will begin service this fall out of California’s McClellan-Palomar Airport, will start routes between Carlsbad, California and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They also plan flights between Carlsbad and Las Vegas, Phoenix, Oakland, Sacramento and San Jose.

The jet has a white fuselage with a light-blue, dark-blue wave pattern on the tail (see photo).

The airline was created by 91 year-old businessman Ted Vallas.
