American Airlines Boeing 737-800 at Miami

An American Airlines jet flying from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has diverted to Miami Airport (MIA) due to cabin pressure problem.

American Flight 1585 took off this morning from Hollywood International Airport (Fort Lauderdale) at 9:16 AM local time and the issue occurred on its initial climb. Pilots circled several times to perform checks before landing at about 10:20 AM.

There were 143 passengers aboard the flight. There were no injuries.

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft is being inspected now.
