A United Airlines Boeing 737 flying from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) to Houston Bush (IAH) on Thursday returned to Phoenix for an emergency landing with a cracked cockpit windshield.

United Airlines Flight 1138 had 119 people on board and departed Sky Harbor at 9:54 AM. The flight landed about 30 minutes later and made a safe landing.

No one was injured. The flight was cancelled.

The cause of the crack is being investigated.

The aircraft was a Boeing 737 – 700…registration: N23708
