KLM will add 3 additional flights weekly between Kuala Lumpur and Amsterdam starting in October as part the carrier’s winter schedule.

This will bring the airline’s total weekly flights to 17, of which seven are codeshare flights on aircraft operated by Malaysia Airlines.

The Dutch airline is offering a promotional fare for its new flights for bookings made from July 2 to 31.

“The extra flights provide extra capacity for KLM, especially as the KL International Airport in Sepang is a good hub for passengers travelling from Europe to Australia and New Zealand, and the new daytime flights complement our existing night flights to offer passengers more options and flexible timing,” said country manager Estee Ng in a statement today.

Passengers travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam on the three new daytime flights will be able to save a day by arriving in Amsterdam on the same day.
