Air Finland Shuts Down, Strands 1,000 Passengers

Air Finland suddenly shut down last night, and in so doing, has stranded over 1,000 passengers who are stuck at different locations the airline flew to.

The Finnish carrier issued a brief statement on its website apologizing for the harm it has caused its passengers who are trying to reach their destinations.

The airline flew to cities in Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

The carrier’s fleet consisted of 4 Boeing 757-200s.
