American Airlines 737 Returns to San Francisco, Engine Cover Issue
An American Airlines jet headed to Los Angeles International (LAX) yesterday had to return to San Francisco International (SFO) when the pilots reported a ‘spoiler issue’, according to the FAA.
American Airlines Flight 1929, a Boeing 737, returned just minutes after taking off from SFO and landed safely with emergency crews meeting them on the runway.
An inspection revealed that part the left-hand engine cowling had peeled back.
There were no reported injuries.

Why do i feel like this happened before to another 737 very recently?
There was a panel missing from a 737…I think it was a Russian airline.
Ah yes, that’s it! I wonder if the issues are related?
