An explosion and fire at a maintenance facility at Prague Airport late Saturday has injured 3 people and destroyed a Czech Airlines ATR-42 plane according to reports.

The blast occurred at about 9:20 PM Local time according to eyewitnesses. A Czech Airlines ATR was apparently undergoing maintenance at the time of the explosion. The Prague-Ruzyne Fire Department moved in and extinguished the fire by 11:00 PM.

3 people were hurt in the incident but none of the injuries are reported to be serious.

The ATR-42 aircraft (registration OK-KFM) was completely destroyed.
