Fake Grenades Causes Scare at Rochester Airport
A man possessing what turned out to be 2 fake hand grenades caused a brief scare with TSA employees at Rochester Airport in New York (ROC) Wednesday morning.
TSA workers were temporarily evacuated from a baggage room while the items were inspected by TSA explosives specialists.
They were determined to be realistic looking replicas that posed no threat.
The grenades were voluntarily surrendered by the man and was allowed to continue on to his flight.
There was no reason given why he had them in his bag.

Now seriously, why would someone have that in their bag?? And I have a hard time believing they ‘forgot’ they were there!!!
Why did they take them away? They’re fake. He has every right to have them if they pose no danger. Another example of government control.
They have every right to take them away if they look like a weapon. Remember. People are up 35,000 feet in the air. The same rules don’t apply up there as they do on the ground and for good reason.
Is there an actual law that says this? I don’t know.
