A US Airways Embraer ERJ-145 regional jet bound for LaGuardia Airport in New York City had to make an emergency landing at Bradley International Airport, Connecticut (BDL) due to a brake issue.

‘U.S. Airways Express Flight 3534, operated by regional carrier Trans States Airlines, landed without incident at about 8:45 a.m., Bradley spokesman John Wallace said.

“The crew reported to our air traffic control tower that their dashboard indicator lights told them that they had a brake temperature sensor problem,” he said. “The initial indication is that they thought that there could possible be a braking problem with the brake system on the aircraft.”‘

The flight took off from Greensboro, North Carolina with 39 passengers aboard. The plane made a safe landing and was able to taxi to its gate.

There were no injuries.

This follows two other incidents involving an Embraer 145 just 2 days ago.
