2 Southwest Airlines flights heading to Phoenix from Orange County where searched by federal authorities Tuesday night due to unspecified threats.

‘Flight 1184 arrived at Sky Harbor International Airport from John Wayne Airport [SNA] in Orange County, Calif., but did not dock at the terminal, according to Ashley Dillon, a Southwest Airlines spokeswoman. Due to a non-specific threat, Dillon said, all passengers and bags aboard the Boeing 737 aircraft were rescreened.’

The other Southwest Airlines flight, flight 811 was due to leave John Wayne Airport as well on Tuesday evening but passengers never boarded the plane as authorities descended on that aircraft as well to search it for a threat.

FBI investigators said they did not find anything on either flight. Flight 811 was not able to leave Tuesday night as the airport curfew of 11PM had passed.

Both aircraft were Boeing 737s.
