9 Boeing 787s Ordered by Air Lease Corporation

Air Lease Corporation (Air Lease Corp./ALC) has ordered 9 Boeing 787 Dreamliners and will lease them to Vietnam Airlines.
ALC is also about to order 60 Boeing 737 MAX airliners according to the Wall Street Journal.
The 787s aren’t to be delivered until 2018-2019.
ALC was founded in 2010 by aircraft entreprenuer Steven Udvar-Házy, who was the former Chairman and CEO of International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), one of the two largest aircraft lessors in the world.
