$25,000 Fine, 5 Years Probation for Disruptive Passenger on Delta Flight

Bryan Sisco (pictured) has to pay a $25,000 fine and was sentenced to 5 years probation on a Delta flight where he made threats...but he still gets to fly??
A Georgia man who disrupted a Delta Airlines on May 20th of last year was sentenced to 5 years probation, given a #25,000 fine and is barred from consuming alcohol:
‘Bryan Allen Sisco said in court papers he was drunk when he boarded the Dallas-to-Atlanta flight on May 20 and told a passenger he had a gas canister that could put everyone onboard asleep.’
Sisco pleaded guilty to giving false information about having a concealed weapon on board an aircraft.
Sisco said the following in court-filed documents:
“I am responsible for the inconveniencing of many passengers and crew, the disruption of other airline travel, the stress on passengers and crew and the wasting of valuable resources on the part of law enforcement.”
“I wish to clearly communicate to the court that I am accepting full responsibility for my criminal conduct in this case.”‘
Sisco must also wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet as part of his probation.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: So this guy is still allowed to fly?? I don’t get it. Give them a 10-year flight ban and I’ll GUARANTEE you’ll see less of this garbage. Loser. And that’s being nice.

I remember watching this reality show called “Airline”, which followed Southwest Airlines employee’s in various airports in the US. I don’t think there was a single episode that didn’t involve Southwest gate agents having to prevent drunks from getting on flights. They used to tell drunk passengers to “Get a coffee” and come back later in the day when they’ve sobered up. I used to think, is it really a big deal? Apparently so!
Haha, and here’s a nice sample from the show Airline.

He seemed ok to me. What do you think?
Yeah, he was definitely a little “tipsy” but not “unsafe”. I guess crews worry about drunks not being able to react appropriately during emergency evacuations etc.
I can see the airline’s side. As I’ve said countless times on the site, once you’re 30,000 feet in the air you can’t just pull over to dump em off!
Haha, wouldn’t it be nice though? They should have a “Smoking Section” out on the wing, too LOL (i’ve heard this joke a few times from crews giving safety briefings).
