An employee for an airport catering company was hit and run over by a catering truck at Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW) early Sunday morning.

Faustino Delapaz, a 53 year-old male from Dallas, was struck by a Sky Chefs catering truck where he was knocked down and then run over according to authorities.

Delapaz suffered chest trauma and was pronounced dead in the ambulance at the scene.

The accident occurred at about 6:45 AM Sunday morning.

The death is being ruled as an accident.
